Abstract

1290248 Hydrostatic transmissions LINDE AG 29 Oct 1970 [30 Oct 1969] 51336/70 Heading F2C [Also in Division F1] A positive-displacement hydraulic pump or motor, e.g. of axial piston type, has a housing 1 of parallelepiped form with at least two faces provided with attachment means for attaching the pump or motor to another pump or motor, e.g. to form an hydraulic transmission, or to a control unit or a support frame having corresponding attachment means. Hydraulic connections 16 may be included in the attachment means. A cover-plate 3 covers any unused attachment face of the housing. The attachment means includes tie bolts, projecting or recessed cylindrical surfaces, and a detachable cylindrical ring for insertion into adjacent recesses of the connected pumps or motors. Examples of multiple pump and pump-motor transmission units are described, Figs. 2 to 9 (not shown).
