Abstract

1290060 Linkwork NORTH AMERICAN ROCKWELLCORP 2 July 1970 [31 Oct 1969] 32183/70 Heading F2K A control device actuating linkwork connected to an end rod of a motion transmitting device 12 comprises a pedal 75 pivoted about an intermediate point so that toe and heel pressure produce through a crank 81 opposite pivoting movement of a driving member 35 pivoted by a bolt 36 on a frame 18. A throw member 22 is swingably mounted in an opening 33 of the frame to selectively pivot about spaced axes 23, 24 and is connected to the driving plate 35 by a head 49 moving in a slot 50 so that movement of the pedal will cause pivoting of the throw member 22 about the appropriate axis to actuate the transmitting device 12 connected to it. A spring 45, Fig. 4, urges the device to the neutral position of Fig. 1. A handle 65 may also be provided to pivot the driving plate 35.
