Abstract

1288677 Pipe bursting prevention means R L RAYBONE and G C R WAIN 25 Aug 1971 [9 June 1970] 27812/70 Heading F2P A device for inserting into a water pipe 11 to protect it from bursting under freezing conditions comprises a continuous length of resiliently deformable tube 10 closed at spaced intervals 12 to form cells and incorporating an integral web or projection 13 to locate the device in the pipe. The device is preferably formed of an extruded plastics material.
