1288439 Screw and nut gearing CENTRALNE BIURO KONSTRUKCYJNE OBRABIAREK 18 Dec 1970 [19 Dec 1969] 60260/70 Heading F2Q In a circulating ball screw and nut arrangement consisting of a pair of nuts 3, 4 on a shaft 7, the outer ends of the nuts carry rings 13, 14 with radial teeth 15 engaging similar teeth on the ends of the nut housing, or as shown, of rings 17, 18 secured to the housing. The number of teeth on the respective pairs of interengaging members differ slightly, thus permitting fine angular adjustment of the nuts to take up backlash. The rings are preferably made of plastics material.
