1286894 Glycidamide BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 27 Jan 1970 [28 Jan 1969] 3788/70 Heading C2C In a process for the production of glycidamide by reaction of acrylonitrile with H 2 O 2 at a pH of 6À0-9À0 in an aqueous solution or emulsion, peroxides are removed from the reaction mixture by the subsequent addition of 9 x 10<SP>-4</SP>- 1 x 10<SP>-5</SP> mols. of one or more manganese compounds per mol. acrylonitrile originally present. Specified manganese compounds include oxides, hydroxides, halides, sulphate, nitrate, acetate and permanganates.
