1286409 Delivering sheets ROLAND OFFSETMASCHINENFABRIK FABER & SCHLEICHER AG 28 July 1970 [31 July 1969] 36399/70 Heading B8R A sheet delivery apparatus for a sheet printing press assembly in which sheets 17 are conveyed from the press to a utilization point, e.g. a stack (8), Fig. 1 (not shown), by means of grippers 9, 18 on an endless conveyer 6, the grippers releasing the sheets above the utilization point, includes a sheet delivery control device having a probe 12 supported beyond a point at which the grippers are opened for sheet release, said probe extending into the path of sheets not so released but clear of the grippers such that a retained sheet moves the probe into operative position, actuating switch means 16 in a sheet conveyance control circuit, e.g. to stop the press. The probe may be spring biased.
