Abstract

1284064 Heat sensitive latices B F GOODRICH CO 11 Feb 1970 [11 Feb 1969] 6474/70 Heading C3P Latices of film-forming polymers are rendered heat-sensitive by the incorporation therein of 0À05 to 1 part by weight of a silicone polyether and at least 4 parts by weight of an organosulphonate emulsifier having at least one aromatically bound -SO 3 group, both parts by weight being per 100 parts by weight of polymer solids. The latex may also have added to it an organic dicarboxylic acid such as oxalic acid or tartaric acid or a polyacrylic acid or ammonium polyacrylate.
