Abstract

1281655 Mechanical switches; actuation MOTOROLA Inc 8 Jan 1971 [4 Feb 1970] 1020/71 Heading H1N An electric switch 42, Fig. 4, having a rectlinearly movable an actuator 46 is mounted within a radio casing 12a and operated by a rotary spindle 24a having a radial arm 31 carrying a crank pin 32 engageable within a slot 34 to rock a lever 36 having a slot 47 at its other end engaged over the switch actuator 46. The lever 36 is pivoted on a rivet 40 having its axis transverse to the axis of the spindle 24a. A detent arrangement for locating the switch in each of its two positions comprises a projection 58 on the lever 31 engageable with a bent portion 54b of a detent spring 54 attached to a fixed block 56.
