Abstract

1281505 Watches SAKATA WATCH CO Ltd 2 June 1970 [5 July 1969(2) 12 Dec 1969 16 Dec 1969] 26591/70 Heading G3T In a watch having hour and minute graduations 4, 5 on the inner surface of its glass 3, each graduation is provided with one colour on its upper surface and with a different colour on its lower surface which may be seen by reflection from a mirror 13 which is fixed to a plate 2 protecting the watch movement. A partial or complete colour layer 11 may also be provided on the lower side of hands 10, and the mirror 13 may be of annular or disc form. The indications 4, 5 may be formed by printing or by inlaying with coloured synthetic resins, natural or synthetic jewels, or metals, and the indications may project from the rear of the glass 3, see Figs. 8, 9 (not shown). The glass may be made of any of a number of named natural and synthetic materials and may be tinted.
