1278178 Perfume composition L GIVAUDAN & CIE SA 30 Nov 1970 [15 Dec 1969] 56773/70 Heading A5B [Also in Division C5] An olfactory composition comprising from 60-90% by weight of rhodinal and from 40-10% by weight of citronellol is prepared by passing hydroxydihydrocitronellol over a dehydrating catalyst at 200‹C-450‹C. The composition may be used in soaps.
