Abstract

1277125 Shampoo device: brushes S A BRUSH CO Ltd 11 Nov 1969 [22 Nov 1968] 55131/69 Headings A4F and A4K A hand operated shampoo device comprises in combination a hand held member 1 having rolling members on axles and means to apply fluid to the rolling members comprising a tray and a reservoir 16 for supplying a foaming liquid to the floor of the tray, whereby the rolling members can engage the floor to foam the liquid. Member 1 has a handle 2 and carries two axles 5 each rotatably carrying brushes 3 and sponges 4 of diameters decreasing towards the outer ends of the axles. The sponges and brushes on each axle are locked so as to rotate together Fig. 8 (not shown). The tray has a floor 19 with a series of longitudinal channels leading into the fluid reservoir 16. The reservoir is otherwise sealed and the liquid in the tray is thus automatically held at the level of the tray floor surface. Alternatively the level may be held at a higher level by providing an opening 26, Fig. 2 (not shown), higher than the floor level. The tray also has transverse grooves.
