Abstract

1276140 Filter element FAIREY HYDRAULICS Ltd 19 April 1971 [25 Nov 1969] 57638/ 69 Heading B1D A filter element comprises two annular sintered bronze discs, whose outer edges are turned in and welded together at 14 and whose flat inner faces are spaced apart by a wire mesh disc 12. In use a number of such discs are clamped together with interposed sealing rings by a bolt extending through their aligned apertures 17, and the resulting assembly operates under inward flow in a housing (not shown). The elements are capable of withstanding the full pressure in a hydraulic circuit (10,000 p.s.i.).
