Abstract
1275861 Capacitors OY NOKIA AB 1 April 1970 [2 April 1969] 15462/70 Heading H1M A capacitor for power transmission applications comprises a plurality of capacitor elements immersed in insulating liquid in a box, one terminal of each element being connected directly to a collecting bar which in turn is connected to a terminal extending outside the box, and the other terminal of each element being connected to a second collecting bar via a fuse consisting of thin wire formed with at least one curve, the wire being surrounded by the insulating liquid at least at its curved part. As shown lead 10 is connected to fuse 11 which is bent around 180 degrees to form curved part 12, strips 13 and 14 of insulating material spacing the arms of the fuse wire apart and from the capacitor element. The wire may have two curves (Fig. 3, not shown).
