Abstract

1275334 Ceiling fan motors F W CHEW and F W HING 28 April 1970 20308/70 Heading H2A In an electric ceiling fan motor which includes a one-piece housing 1 cast, e.g. by die-casting, upon the motor rotor 4, and having formed therein two bearing seats 3 containing bearings, not shown, upon which the housing is rotatable, the rotor 4 is in the form of a ring which surrounds the motor stator, not shown, and a plastics cover 5 is so fitted to the housing 1 as to enclose the stator therebetween. The bearings are fitted to a spindle, not shown, which extends through a housing aperture 2 and to the lower end of which is fitted the stator.
