Abstract

1,273,895. Adhesive coated tape. M. KUKOFF. 8 Dec., 1970, No. 58240/70. Heading B2E. [Also in Division B6] An ornamental tape comprises as shown in Figure 2 a base material 12 e.g. of open-weave design adhesive material 18 covering the top surface 20 of the base material and partially permeating it, a multiplicity of flat light reflective particles 16 of solid material flocked on to the coat of adhesive material in random arrangement so that only a small portion of each of the particles are in contact with the adhesive material, a pressure-sensitive adhesive material 26 coated on the bottom surface 24 of the base material and a strip of release material 28 in releasable contact with the pressure sensitive adhesive material, the release strip being removable when it is desired to adhere the ornamental tape to an object. The light reflective particles may be of polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl acetate, polystyrene, aluminium or glass.
