1,272,543. Drop-keels. C. E. L. CHAUVEAU. 22 Jan., 1970 [18 June, 1969], No. 3275/70. Heading B7V. A boat has a weighted keel 3 movable between a position in which the keel or part of it projects below the bottom surface of the boat and a retracted position in which only the weight 4 carried at the end of the keel projects. Guides 5, 5<SP>1</SP> define a straight path for the keel and winch 17 controls the movement along the path.
