Abstract
1,269,354. Annealing nickel-chromium alloys. INTERNATIONAL NICKEL Ltd. July 3, 1969 [July 16, 1968], No.33916/68. Heading C7A. Alloys containing nominally Cr 45-70% C not more than 0À2% Mn, Fe, Si not more than 2% each Ni balance are given improved ductility by annealing at 600‹-900‹C., preferably for at least 12 hours. The alloys may then be cold worked in stages with intermediate annealing. S and P should not exceed 0À02% each, and N should not exceed 0À2%.
