In a liquid sample analysis bath e.g. for a multi-aperture-tube apparatus as described in Specification 1, 232, 707. The sample supply pipe enters through the bottom of the bath (instead of the top and has a preferably catenoidal configuration to promote smooth flow of liquid into the bath.
