Abstract

1,268,187. Lamps. W. G. MITCHELL. 19 May, 1969 [29 May, 1968], No. 25711/68. Heading F4R. [Also in Division G5] A light source 5 forming part of a display means (see Division G5) consists of a rotary cowl 4 driven by a motor 2. The cowl is formed with a series of windows 5 which are of different coloured glass. The windows are removable and interchangeable. A reflector 6 is provided to direct all light emitted on to the display and to prevent back scatter. The intensity and composition of light incident on the display may be varied by a reflector 10 and light shield 11, Fig. 3.
