Abstract
1,266,208. Securing means for containers. CLARES (ENG.) Ltd. 16 Oct., 1970 [30 Oct., 1969], No. 53320/69. Heading B8Q. Pallets 20, Fig. 1, or small containers, are secured within a larger container by detachable cross-members 29-31, Fig. 2, which are latched to side members 26, 27. The latter are spaced apart by end members 28, 32. The end and cross-members carry spacers such as 42, 44, and pins such as 46, 47 which respectively space and locate the pallets or containers. The pins engage holes 23, Fig. 1. One end of each crossmember fits in a socket 33, Fig. 1, and the other end is held in a socket 35 by a pin 39. In an alternative arrangement the pins may be provided on the pallets or containers and engage recesses in the cross-members.
