Abstract

1,266,108. Gripping tool. AMP Inc. 7 Sept., 1970 [24 Oct., 1969; 21 Jan., 1970], No. 42720/70. Heading B4W. [Also in Division H2] In a carrier for an integrated circuit nodule sockets 9 are fixed on to the upper portion 5 of posts 2 in the carrier 1 by the use of a hand-tool 54. The tool comprises crossed handles 55, 56 provided with teeth 58 and a channel 59 to hold a gang of sockets. After the sockets have been clipped on to the posts the slot 60 can be used to fracture the strip 51 at the bridging sections 52.
