Abstract
1,266,060. Germicidal liquid detergent. UNILEVER Ltd. 7 Sept., 1970 [12 Sept., 1969], No. 45129/69. Addition to 1,197,817. Heading C5D. A liquid detergent formulation comprises a synergistic mixture of the known antibacterial compounds 4,2<SP>1</SP>,4<SP>1</SP> - trichloro - 2 - hydroxydiphenylether, 3,4,41 - trichlorocarbanilide and 4,4<SP>1</SP> - dichloro - 3 - trifluoromethylcarbanilide. The liquid detergent contains 0À5 to 5À0% of the mixture, which contains at least 10% by wt. of each of the three compounds. Preferred liquid detergent compositions are the liquid soap products of Specification 1,235,292. The compositions may be in the form of liquids, gels or pastes.
