126,447. Milner, H. L., and Beeby, A. R. May 6, 1918. Filters having sheet filtering - materials. - In a filter having sheets of filtering - material 23 clamped between disks 19 provided w i t h perforated flanges 21, 24 through which the liquid to be filtered flows, the disks 19 are threaded on a perforated pipe 4 which may serve as an inlet or outlet pipe. The sheets 23 may be made of chamois leather, or other dressed or undressed hide or skin. The pipe 4 is connected bv a boss or flange 7 to a plate 12, and the whole is enclosed in a casing 1.
