Abstract

1,262,782. Holders for aerosol dispensers. MINNESOTA MINING & MFG CO. April 24, 1969 [April 25, 1968], No. 21095/69. Heading F1R. [Also in Division A4] A holder 20 for an aerosol dispensing container of floor cleaner or wax polish to be attached to a floor cleaning and polishing machine, Fig. 1 (not shown), comprises a frame 21 of channel section having claws 22 formed in the sides 23 adjacent one end and carrying a slide assembly 25 provided with a hook 26 at the other end, the claws and hook being adapted to releasably engage the end seams of the dispensing container. A trigger 32 for operating the dispensing valve of the container is pivotally mounted in the frame 21 and connected by a wire 55 to an operating button 56. An arm 41 connected to either side of the frame 21 permits the frame to be attached to the floor treating machine by a worm drive clamp 48. The clamp 48 is mounted in slots 47 in a bracket 45 to which the arm 41 is pivotally connected by a bolt 44 and wing nut. The spring 29 connecting the frame 21 and slide assembly 25 exerts a force of about 2 to 5À5 kg. to hold the dispensing container. A shroud 60 partially surrounds the frame 21. Two or more holders may be mounted on the floor treating machine.
