Abstract

[Also in Divisions G2 and G5] Apparatus for projecting a random light pattern upon a reflective screen comprises a carriage 12 carrying metallized plastics foil reflectors 18 fastened to turn-tables 20 driven by a chain 24 powered by an electric motor 25 and buckled metallic strips 17 which reflect light received from at least one source 8 on to the reflectors 18 which direct the light upwardly through a horizontal, adjustable window 2 to impinge upon a concave matt white screen (not shown). The carriage 12 may be positioned so that light which may be coloured falls on one or more of the reflectors 17 which may be covered in part by colour filters.
