Abstract
1,262,118. Triangular wave generators. EASTMAN KODAK CO. 24 April, 1969 [26 April, 1968], No. 21049/69. Heading H3T. [Also in Divisions G2-G3] A triangular wave generator comprises a flipflop 100 providing a positive or zero potential F which is fed to a summing junction of an operational amplifier 101 which has a large feedback capacitor C 1 and thus acts as an integrator. NPN transistors Q 1 , Q 2 serve as power amplifiers and inverters. The collector of transistor Q 1 is connected to an enabling input J of the flip-flop 100 so that when the voltage at input J reaches the triggering level, the next pulse from clock pulses applied to an input C causes the flip-flop to change state. The collector of transistor Q 2 is connected to a second enabling input K. Variation of the value of capacitor C 1 adjusts the frequency of the triangular wave produced at the output of the operational amplifier 101. The output may alternatively be taken from the collector of either Q 1 or Q 2 .
