Abstract

1,262,176. Screen printing. INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP. 22 Sept., 1969 [8 Oct., 1968], No. 46503/69. Heading B6C. In order to print in a one-step operation ceramic substrates with a conductive material in a printed circuit design comprising an amalgamated land and resistor pattern a metal printing screen is used which has meshed openings 11, 12 and unobstructed openings 14. In a further embodiment, Fig. 4, the unobstructed openings 23 are undercut at 24 to provide a more uniform conductive material distribution through the openings. The material is applied in paste form and the solvent is subsequently fired off.
