1,260,234. Veterinary treatments and compositions. BEECHAM GROUP Ltd. 21 May, 1970 [12 June, 1969], No. 29733/69. Heading A5B. The toxic effect of CCl 4 on animals is combatted by the prior administration of a compound of the general formula: wherein R is C 1-6 alkyl or alkoxy phenyl or phenoxy. The invention includes compositions comprising an active compound and a carrier and a pack comprising appropriate quantities of an active compound or composition containing it and CCl 4 or a composition containing it for treating sheep and cattle diseases, e.g. liver fluke.
