Abstract

1,260,066. Card holder. BRO-DART INDUSTRIES Inc. 23 Sept., 1970 [3 Oct., 1969], No. 45191/70. Heading B8F. A device for application to a book surface to form a pocket for a library card comprises a sheet 10 bearing pressure-sensitive adhesive and a readily peelable cover 12 having cuts 19, 20 permitting the removal of a portion 18 of the cover to expose the adhesive and thus enable the device to be applied to the book surface. The bottom of the sheet 10 may be folded back at 13, the outside of the turned-back part bearing adhesive 15 and the facing surfaces of the turned-back part being free of adhesive as is a band 21 of the rear surface of the sheet 10 so that the lower end of the pocket is completely devoid of adhesive to ensure that the bottom of a library card will not contact adhesive. A reinforcing plastics strip may be interposed between, and adhesively secured to, the sheets 10, 12.
