[Also in Division F2] A ship's rudder is rotatable in a bearing 32 in a guide 35 which is filled with lubricating oil and sealed by shaft packings 37, 38 (Division F2) The oil is pressurized to provide a sealing pressure and remote control and regulation of the oil pressure may be established by means of a manometer 63 and a valve 44 associated with a warning system; the control and regulation of the oil pressure can be effected from the ship's bridge or machine room.
