Abstract

1,255,361. Locking bar. INGERSOLL LOCKS Ltd. 29 Dec., 1969 [3 Jan., 1969], No. 521/69. Heading E2A. A locking bar 10 having an orifice 17 through which the shackle 50 of a padlock may pass and an abutment 23 to prevent rotation of the padlock about an axis through the orifice may be used with a padlock which has a recess 52 transverse to the shackles and closed at one end 32 thus preventing rotation of the padlock and hindering attack on the padlock shackle.
