Abstract

1,254,700. Kerbstones. P. J. CHITTY. 6 Aug., 1969 [27 May, 1968], No. 25309/68. Heading E1G. In a method of laying, re-laying, or raising the level of kerbing using two-part kerbstones 2-3, the lower portions 2, which have flat upper surfaces, are laid level with the road surface prior to or when constructing the road, while the upper portions are secured thereon, e.g. by grout and dowels 8, only when the road is finished. Spacers may be provided between the portions 2, 3.
