Abstract

1,251,431. Containers. DART INDUSTRIES Inc. 6 Jan., 1969 [8 Jan., 1968], No. 745/69. Heading B8P. A container 10, which may be of high density, linear polyethylene or polypropylene has a closure member 12 which may be of low density polyethylene and at least one internal tray member 11 having hemi-ovate indentations impressed therein. Each tray has a finger opening 16 at each end. The container 10 has a stepped inner wall 20, 21, 22 and an outer wall 25 and carries an upstanding flange 18<SP>1</SP> that is engaged by a peripheral rim on the closure member 12. Handle members 33 are provided at each end of the container 10. The step 21 in the wall may support a closed container (24, Fig. 11) and heating or cooling medium can be placed in a compartment 23 beneath the closed container.
