Abstract
1,249,233. Transformers. INSTITUT FUR REGELUNGSTECHNIK. 14 March, 1969, No. 13459/69. Heading HIT. [Also in Division G1] A differential transformer comprises two ferrite shell cores 47 spaced apart by a ring 50 and coil sets 51, 52. Each set includes serially connected primary windings 3, 4, a respective one of secondary windings 7, 8 and serially connected control windings 5, 6. A shaft 48 bearing a disc 58 with ferrite layers 49 is mounted for longitudinal translation in bearings 55. The transformer forms part of a displacement measuring apparatus (see Division G1).
