Abstract

1,249,039. Wrist watch attachments. H. U. KLINGENBERG. 29 April, 1969 [1 May, 1968], No. 21898/69. Heading A3H. [Also in Divisions E2, G2 and G3] A clamp for removably attaching a watch to a wristlet 18 comprises curved bars 2, 3 and screws 4, 5. The bars may be made of nickel silver, stainless steel, glass, sapphire, wood, sintered ceramic or thermo setting synthetic plastic and they may be recessed to provide housings for the batteries of an electric watch. The cross-section of the bars may be U-shaped or hexagonal and instead of being curved the bars may be straight. A shock absorbing rubber lining may be incorporated between each bar and the watch case. The bars may be covered with interchangeable sleeves of cloth, leather or synthetic plastics.
