Abstract

1,249,054. Envelopes. LAMSON PARAGON Ltd. 2 Feb., 1970 [7 Feb., 1969], No. 6692/69. Heading B6A. A continuous envelope assembly, e.g. for sending envelopes to employees giving details of salary, comprises at least three webs 1, 4, 7, with marginal feed perforations 11, the web 1 constituting a file copy and having spaces 2, 3 for entering the name and address and salary details respectively and a carbon coating 6a on its back under the space 2 so that the name &c., is copied on a space 5 of the second web 4, and the second web 4 having a carbon coating 6 on its reverse side and registering with the space 3 of sheet 1 so that the salary details are copied on a space 8 on the third sheet 7, the second and third sheets being divided into envelope lengths each sealed by adhesive strips 9, 10 to form envelopes having the address on the outside of web part 4 and the salary details on the inside of web part 7. A line of perforations 13 in the webs 4, 7 facilitates opening of the envelope by the employee. Tear-off lines of perforations 12 are located within each line of feed perforations 11.
