1,248,321. Wheeled invalid chair. MODERN TUBULAR PRODUCTIONS Ltd. 16 Jan., 1970 [20 Jan., 1969], No. 3196/69. Heading B7B. [Also in Division A4] A wheeled invalid chair comprises a metal frame consisting of a front portion 1, 2 of U- shape connected by side bars 5, 6 to a rearportion 3, 4 of inverted U-shape, a pair of wheels mounted adjacent the lower end of the rear U-portion 3, 4, a combined seat-backrest unit 8, 9, pivoted at its front edge, to the upper end of the front U-portion, and adjustable in position by means of a U-shaped rack member 11 whose teeth are engageable with a transverse bar 11b mounted on the side member 5. A legrest 12 is pivoted at its upper end to the front U-portion, and is similarly adjustable by means of a rack member 13. A foot-rest 14 is adjustably mounted on the leg-rest 12, and a tray 16 may be mounted on the front U-portion.
