[Also in Division C4] Fire-extinguishing compositions comprise bromotrifluoromethane mixed with chlorobromomethane, dibromodifluoromethane or dibromotetrafluoroethane and stored in the presence of a pressurising agent. The latter may be N 2 , CO 2 or a chlorofluoroalkane. CBrF 3 is a gas and CH 2 BrCl, CBr 2 F 2 and C 2 Br 2 F 4 liquids at 15‹C and atmospheric pressure.
