Abstract

1,244,796. Valves. PEGLER-HATTERSLEY Ltd. 30 Jan., 1970 [14 Feb., 1969], No. 8134/69. Heading F2V. A float valve includes a water discharge tube 34 having a plurality of axially spaced holes 38 all arranged to direct water downwardly either side of the float arm 22, or to direct water to the sides of the tank. The discharge tube may be made of a plastics material (Fig. 7, not shown) in which case it is arranged to snap over an enlargement (46) on an elbow connection (40).
