Abstract

1,242,697. Paperboard. NATIONAL GYPSUM CO. 4 Oct., 1968 [13 Nov., 1967], No. 47247/68. Heading D2B. [Also in Division B2] A fibreboard consists of cellulose fibres, e.g. wood, a binder, e.g. starch and magnesium hydroxide in an amount sufficient for giving off water for preventing flaming of the cellulose fibres, perferably 50 to 20% by weight. In the example fibreboard is manufactured from pulp containing wood fibre, magnesium hydroxide, tapioca starch, rosin, alum and paraffin wax.
