Abstract

A wall or floor is faced using ceramic tiles between the joints of which an acid curing synthetic resin putty is cast or injected, the surface then being rough smoothed, a mineral acid or acid salt solution being applied, allowed to act on the putty, and then brushed off with the excess putty.
