Abstract

1,240,722. Endless conveyers. ARENCO A.B. 29 Oct., 1968 [31 Oct., 1967], No. 51201/68. Heading B8A. Cigarettes normally fed by endless conveyer belts 1 and 10 from a cigarette machine 4 to a packing machine 12 are diverted to a transportable container 5 when the machine 12 fails. If the machine 4 fails, cigarettes from a container 13 are fed on to the belt 10. The belts 1 and 10 are connected by a suction roller 8, and suction orifices are also provided on the roller 9 of the conveyer 10.
