Abstract

1,240,523. Milking machines. ZERO MFG. CO. Inc. 31 July, 1968, No. 36479/68. Heading A1M. In the milking system described in Specification 1,145,801, the bores of the milk discharge pipes 114 are tapered slightly, decreasing in diameter progressively from top to bottom. This ensures that milk discharge pipes are never completely blocked by the milk flow. Thus the cow's teats are subjected to the uniform vacuum of the milk receptacle 115.
