Cotton plants infested with insects harmful to the plants are treated with a compound of the formula or compositions containing such a compound. The insects may be in the egg stage. The compound may be applied to the form of a solution, aqueous emulsion, vapour, dust, or grannule. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,039,930.
