1,139,071. Antifoggants. FUJI SHASHIN FILM K.K. Jan.7, 1966 [Jan.12, 1965J, No. 919/66. Heading G2C. Silver halide materials comprise an antifoggant either in the emulsion layer or in a layer adjacent thereto the reaction product prepared by heating an aqueous solution containing 0-5 to 10% by weight of the compound of the formula: - wherein R is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl for a period in the range 10 mins. to 5 hrs. at a temperature in the range of 40 to 100‹ C.
