Abstract

1,138,164. Hot water boilers. OIL-THERM A.G. 25 May, 1966 [9 June, 1965], No. 23259/66. Heading F4A. An oil fired hot water boiler has its flues so constructed that the flue gas paths through the flues are all of an equal length. The flue gases pass through openings from a firing chamber F into the end of first collection passages Su. From here they flow through a number of parallel identical transverse flues Z to second collection passages So, identical to the first. The gas is finally exhausted through an outlet pipe A at the far end of the flues So. The boiler may be of the cast iron sectional type, or of a welded steel construction.
