Abstract

1,138,162. Lamp reflectors. DICROLITE CO. 6 May, 1966, No. 20097/66. Heading F4R. [Also in Division G2] A light unit includes a reflector which reflects substantially all the incident I.R. energies and at least part of the incident visible energies, but transmits and/or absorbs the energies in the range 0À63-0À69 Á, such that the colour temperature of the radiant energies is modified on reflection. As shown in Fig. 11, the curved reflector 32 is contained in trough-shaped housing 43 having a transparent cover 44, the light source being a strip light 24 which may have a colour temp. of at least 3200‹ K. In a further modification, Fig. 12 (not shown), the reflector is dish-shaped but includes a similar strip light as above.
