Abstract

1,136,874. Pipe joints. H. KREIDEL, and H. KREIDEL Jun. 26 April, 1967 [14 May, 1966], No. 19196/67. Addition to 1,025,457. Heading F2G. In a modification of the ball-bearing rotary joint described in the parent Specification the sealing ring and groove in the plunger is omitted and a resilient sealing ring 14 is compressed between a flat annular face in the housing and the plunger 10, a part of one side of the sealing ring pressing against one side of a ring 13 which is mounted with radial play around a neck formed on the plunger and which closely fits against an internal cylindrical surface in the housing. The plunger is formed with an annular projection of triangular cross-section engaging the end face 12 of the journal member 2.
