Abstract

1,135,683. Drawers. A. ARENSON Ltd. 8 Sept., 1967 [9 Nov., 1966], No. 50123/66. Heading A4B. A drawer has a longitudinal groove 6 formed in each of its side walls 4 to receive a runner fixed to a carcass in which the drawer is mounted and each groove 6 is fitted with a resilient plastics liner 12 of channel section with side flanges 11 splayed outwardly from an inwardly arched web 12. To fit the liner 10 in the groove 6 the flanges 11 are flexed towards each other so that when in the groove 6 the liner 10 is retained by its own resilience. The flanges 11 may have longitudinal ribs 13 which engage auxiliary grooves 7 in the opposed surfaces 8, 9 of the groove 6.
