Abstract
1,134,962. Winding apparatus. FRISCH KABEL - UND VERSEILMASCHINENBAU G.m.b.H. 14 April, 1967 [26 April, 1966], No. 17267/67. Heading B8B. [Also in Division D1] A tapered draw-off pulley 2 rotating about an axis 5 has its larger end surrounded by a ring member 7 rotating about an axis 6 inclined to the axis 5. A peripheral connection 23 causes the ring 7 to rotate with the pulley 2 and the angular difference between the axes 5 and 6 causes the ring 7 to oscillate relatively to the draw-off pulley 2 in a manner causing the ring 7 to push loops 10 on the pulley 2 towards the narrow end of the draw-off pulley. In Fig. 1 the pulley 2 is rigid with a shaft mounted in a support 1 and driven by a pinion 18.
